Making the decision around which University to study with is one of the biggest life changing decisions you will make. We want you to be certain, reassured and comfortable with whichever route you take. To help you make that choice, we offer regular open days to welcome in prospective students, bring your family, bring your friends and come meet our staff. We’ll chat to you about the programme choices we have available, discuss your educational achievements to date and show you around our facilities.
We also offer a wide range of scholarships, you can learn about these as well as our early payment discounts and student referral reward scheme, when you visit.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Studying away from the comfort of home and the reassurance of your family can be a big step, not just for you but for your parents too! We understand that one of the most important things a parent can be given, is the knowledge that their child is well looked after.
We can guide you through the visa process as part of your application and will support you to settle in to life at the Academic Centre. We want you to feel part of the University of Bolton family and are here to offer advice and guidance as well as your academic direction.
We are proud to have over 30 different nationalities studying with us and a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and religions. These are celebrated with a variety of annual events such as Cultural Day, National Dress Day, and Food Competitions as well as within the day to day academic life.

The Recognition of Prior Learning (previously known as Accreditation of Prior Learning) is a process through which students may receive credit towards part of their chosen programme of study based on recognition, identification and acknowledgement of learning from previous experience and achievements.
The purpose of this policy is to allow flexibility for current and prospective students to
use RPL procedures to their best effect while at the same time providing an overall
framework within which regulatory and quality assurance issues are addressed across
