You are normally expected to have successfully completed an honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have appropriate work experience. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
Applicants who do not possess an honours degree but have substantial managerial experience and an HE Level 7 qualification of at least 100 credits in a relevant subject. These may include Post-graduate Diploma, Ofqual/SQA regulated Level 7 Extended Diploma. All application forms need to be accompanied by a reflective overview of the managerial responsibilities undertaken to date.
A letter of reference on headed paper from the current/most recent employer should also be provided clearly showing length of employment and a breakdown of roles and responsibilities.

This MBA Top Up programme comprises 80 credits in total at level HE7, with 20 credits of taught modules followed by a 60 credit project module. In addition to the compulsory professional project, students will take one of two taught modules: either MBA7058 Leadership and Management or MBA7061 Strategy. The choice will be facilitated by the programme lead; the intention is to ensure that the MBA Top Up learning journey is appropriately tailored to building on prior professional experience and existing HE7 qualifications.
