General Entry Requirements

You are normally expected to have successfully completed a relevant qualification at Level HE5, such as a Foundation Degree or HND, or a professional qualification at an equivalent level. If English is not your first language you will need to complete a Secure English Language Test at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.

Aims of the Programme

The principal aims of the programme are to:

  • Consolidate and develop knowledge and understanding of business and management through a stimulating programme of study that is informed by both research and practice

  • Enhance your knowledge, experience and skills to develop your employability/career and to pursue further study and professional development

  • Provide you with the opportunities to explore and critically apply concepts, theories and models used in business and management

  • Improve your personal development, competence, adaptability and self-confidence through critical enquiry and independent study

Programme Structure

This is a Top up course at HE6 which comprises 120 credits. Students will take either the Dissertation or, if in suitable employment, the Business Project. Students will also take Strategic Management as core and 3 option modules.
